There is a session fee of $150 which reserves a date and time for your photoshoot, includes a pre-session consultation, the time William will spend capturing your photos, selecting photos for your proof gallery, creating your gallery, editing your photo selections, and assisting you with placing your order. An initial payment of 50% of the session fee is required to book your session date and time and is nonrefundable. This payment is due at the time you book your session. The other 50% is due at the time of your session. For more details and information on pricing, click here.
Once you book your session, you will receive an email containing links with a variety of helpful information, including information on session tips, what to wear, and what to bring to your session. For sessions with young children, please schedule your session when your child is likely going to be at their best, avoiding times near or during their usual naptime and bedtime. Sleepy and/or cranky children don't typically do well during photo sessions!
Prior to your session, you will receive a phone call to answer any questions you may have and discuss photo shoot location options and goals for your session. Locations may include parks, playgrounds, historic sites, my studio, or your home.
You will receive your contract along with a questionnaire via email that will help ensure you get the most from your session. Please complete this questionnaire as soon as you are able, as it will help William get to know you and begin making plans for your session. You will be able to review, sign, and submit your contract electronically.
Session reminders via email will be sent prior to your session date. Please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled session time. Your session will be approximately 60-90 minutes to allow plenty of time to capture your portraits. Please leave additional time for your session incase we need longer than 60-90 minutes so that, if possible, we can extend your session time (for no additional cost). Just to be safe, I recommend leaving three hours for your session. This can be especially important for sessions with young children who may need additional time, but in most cases we will be finished closer to 60-90 minutes after your session begins.
If you're interested in posing with your car, ATV, motorcycle, bike, etc., please let me know ahead of time. These should be clean for your session.
Interested in being photographed with your dog or other furry friend/family member? Please let me know ahead of time and bring them along, location and weather permitting. I am an animal lover and love to capture photographs with people and the animals they love! When bringing an animal, you will need to arrange for someone to come to the photo session and care for the animal when they are not being photographed. Don't forget to bring along water, food (if needed), and treats (small treats are great for getting and keeping their attention during photo shoots). Also, consider the weather when deciding to bring along an animal and, if appropriate, arrange for someone to take them back home after they are photographed if the weather is too cold or hot for them be outside for the duration of your session.
For senior sessions - If you would like to have some photographs taken with your friends, bring them! This is a great way to capture memories with people closest to you. Consider coordinating your outfits, if desired, prior to your session. Prior to being photographed, your friends and, if under 18 years of age, their legal guardian(s), will be required to sign a model release form sign the form.
